Bodog Upgrades Software With Tons of Cool New Features

The World Series of Poker may be making its waves in the poker world but, for at home player its Bodog that is making a real splash. The site has just released a few upgrades that are sure to save a lot of time and aggravation for players who like to get in their day to day action.

If you’re tired of waiting for players with slow connections you’ll be happy with the first of the changes. The network has instituted a new auto-check policy which automatically checks a player’s hand in the event that they lose their connection. This should in theory make playing a whole lot easier for everyone involved since it forces players to give a response.

Also long-overdue is their new hand for hand system which affects the way tournaments are run near the money bubble. Now when the player counter clicks close to the rewards, tables will freeze and play in turn until the money bubble is busted.

On the visual front, Bodog has added a nice tweak for their table animations. Now, whenever players win a flush or better, flames will appear around the victor’s hand showing that they are on fire. While it isn’t a mind altering addition it does add a bit of flare and humor to the already enjoyable table play.

If you want to see how all the upgrades work then you’ll have to wait for your software to update or simply stop at Bodog.com and download the latest version of their software. While you’re there don’t forget to check out their promotions and deposit bonuses.

New players can enjoy a 110% first deposit bonus of up to $1100!
