High Stakes Online Poker Action Recap
The action has been heating up quickly following a recent lull on the high stakes tables.
Patrik Antonius and Kagome Kagome (formerly known as IHateJuice) have been getting a lot of attention for their recent session. The two sat down on the virtual felt Wednesday morning for some $3,000-$6,000 Limit Hold'em action. At the end of the day it was Antonius who came out on top with $159,000 in profits but for most of the session it looked like the win could easily have gone either way. The two plan to face off again sometime in the next few days.
As of this article being written, Phil Ivey is facing off against fishosaurusREX in $1,500-$3,000 Limit Duece-to-Seven triple draw. So far it appears that Ivey is crushing his opponent but when it comes to poker things can quickly turn the other way. We'll keep you posted if any startling developments occur but in all likelihood Ivey will walk away with a large chunk of cash.
The biggest winners of this past week include unknown player urubu111 who scooped up $200,000 and, Bryn Kenney, Gus Hansen, and Alexey Makarov who all manage to take home about $100,000.
