PokerStars has opened a brand new area in their lobby. Called Daniel’s Room in honor of Team Pro Daniel Negreanu, the new high-stakes cash game tables were designed and endorsed by the poker legend.
Now is your chance to see the legend in action. All of the tables in the room are open to observers so you can follow your favorite players and even chat with Negreanu himself while he faces off against the competition.
If watching isn’t your style, you are more than welcome to join in on the action. Stakes range from $20/$40 with $10 antes right on up to $100/$200 with $50 antes. You can find Daniel’s Room tables listed with a red DR symbol in the Hold’em > No Limit/Pot Limit > High section of the PokerStars lobby or you can click the ‘Show only Daniel’s Room’ option in the Hold’em Ring Game Filter.
In a weird twist the site is advertising that any player that can impress Negreanu may end up getting a spot in a future PokerStars TV show.
PokerStars has stated that they plan to add a number of other features to Daniel’s Room in the near future. The statement seems pretty vague but we here at PokerShark are certainly looking forward to seeing what they come up with. With Daniel Negreanu endorsing something you know it has to be good.
