There have been many rumors as to the true identity of Isildur1, but most in the poker community are quite certain that the true person behind the nosebleeds stakes on FullTiltPoker.com is none other than Viktor Blom.

 What we do know about the online poker player is that he’s from Sweden, just like Blom and that he isn’t just some random dude who miraculously won millions without any skill. That is what has led many of us to believe that the high stakes pro is most certainly someone who we’ve already seen. Only this time, he is trying to remain anonymous. When it comes to these high stakes though, it is tough to remain that way for long as the poker community will soon uncover the face behind the online name.

That is again the case with Viktor Blom who has played under the handle “blom90” on the iPoker network at the young age of 18. He is known as an aggressive player who will play on as many tables as possible with whomever he can and for as much as he can. The rumor is that he deposited just $2k and managed to turn it into 1.4 million dollars in just a few weeks time.

Soon his keen poker skills led him to playing with online pros such as Patrik Antonius, Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Phil Ivey at the highest online stakes. At one point, history was made during the biggest pot in online poker between Isildur1 and Patrik Antonius. In November 2009 alone, the Swedish pro made over 4.5 million dollars at the online tables.

For now, we can only make an educated guess that Viktor Blom is indeed Isildur1, but one thing is for sure- Tom Dwan and many other high stakes pros might want to watch their bankroll closely to avoid losing it to this infamous high stakes player with loads of potential. Viktor Blom or not, Isuildur1 is a force to be reckoned with in the online poker world.
