Microsoft Reveals Full House Poker for Xbox Live Arcade and Windows 7
It has been confirmed that Texas Hold’em poker fans everywhere will soon have another way to enjoy their free time. One of the leading creators of games, Microsoft, has developed a new game for the Xbox Live Arcade entitled Full House Poker.
Available to play in single mode, heads-up or in live online tournament format, the new poker game is sure to be a big hit. One of these live tournaments is called Microsoft Heat and will feature up to 30 competitors. The other will be a 30 minute tournament called Texas Heat where it will be all about speed.
A really nice detail about Full House Poker is that it will be compatible with Windows 7. Microsoft has given out some very interesting glimpses into the game as well. Players who cash in tournaments will be rewarded with X points which can be used to level up, unlock new rewards, and more. Players will have a range of different poker table skins to choose from and will be able to customize their Avatars with cool gear.
As a replacement for the failed 1 vs 100 game, Full House Poker is expected to do much better than its predecessor. Players can bring in their existing Xbox Live Avatars and immediately begin playing the game. Another really cool fact is that the Avatars will be expressions and gestures which become progressively more noticeable as things heat up.
