Novemeber Niner Soi Nguyen Hosted FTOPS Event and Won

Soi Nguyen became just the third person in Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) history to win an event while serving as its host. The 2010 November Niner beat out 1,841 players in Event 18, the $217 buy-in No Limit Hold'em Rush Super Turbo event, to win his first FTOPS title.

While there were not many big names at the table he did manage to take out a few very well respected online players including David “Davidp18” Peters and IWEARGOGGLES. He took down $78,000 for his efforts which is a pretty penny but nothing compared to his recent winnings at the WSOP.

In related news, Sebastian “sebbau” Bauer took down Event 16 for $274k on Monday, Jonathan “driverseat” Tamayo finished runner up in Event 15 for $28k, and Jared “TheWacoKid” Hamby placed third in Event 19 for $36k.

FTOPS XVIII will wrap up on November 21st with a $3 million guaranteed Main Event hosted by Gus Hansen. There is still time to earn a seat in the event at a portion of the cost.
