Online Poker Tournament for Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program

The CEREUS Network introduced a series of online fundraisers benefiting national charities called “Second Sundays” last month.
The tournament series allows players to earn some real money and prizes while helping out a good cause and raising awareness. Last month’s tournament helped raise money for the San Antonio AIDS Foundation and this month’s proceeds will benefit the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program at Cedars-Sinai.
This weekend’s Second Sunday charity poker tournament will take place on Sunday April 11th at 1:00pm EST. The buy-in is set at $10 with UB.com and AbsolutePoker.com ready to match the total funds raised by players dollar for dollar for the charity. Payouts include five entries to the CEREUS Network’s $200,000 Guaranteed tournament, cash winnings and plenty of swag.
The winner of the tournament will also receive a Rockwell Time limited edition stainless steel "Pink" sports watch in addition to any cash winnings. For those who aren’t so lucky all players who do not qualify for one of the many top prizes will automatically be entered into the next day’s second-chance bonus free roll which features up to $1,075 in additional tournament entries.
