Poker2Nite Returns for a Second Season: Debut Tonight

UB.com has announced that their acclaimed poker television news series will be back for a second season. The first episode of Season 2 of Poker2Nite is scheduled to air Wednesday March 3rd at 11pm on Versus for U.S. viewers and on different schedules with SportsNet in Canada and The Poker Channel in Europe.
Season one of the show made a very successful run. Hosted by poker radio stars Joe Sebok and Scott Huffman it provided viewers with an exciting new way to get their dose of poker related news. Every week the show would provide their audience with expert analysis and commentary on every aspect of the poker world covering everything from the latest tournaments to online poker stars to land-based icons.
The first season enjoyed a wide range of poker celeb interviews. With guest appearances from such hot shots as Phil Hellmuth, Andy Bloch, Lon McEachern, Joe Cada, Annie Duke, Brandon Cantu and Doyle Brunson.
It also provided viewers with a chance at poker history. Each week during its special promotion it gave fans a chance to earn one of two World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event Packages at absolutely no cost to them. Fans will be happy to know that despite a number of changes this opportunity won’t be one of them.
The show is will be getting a new look, a new time slot and for many viewers a new network. It will also so be getting a cute little upgrade adding real-time social networking integration to the mix to allow the show to more interactive to players.
