PokerStars Gets in the Giving Spirit this October with EPT London Charity Event

PokerStars is set to host a charity event during EPT London. The event which will benefit Cancer Research UK, an organization that supports cancer research in the United Kingdom, will feature a £100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The 2-day event will run from October 2nd to the 4th at the stunning Hilton Metropole Hotel. Buy-ins to the event are set at £100+£10+£10 with £10 of every entry going directly to the charity. Re-buys to the event are not only allowed they are encouraged. The site is trying to raise as much money as possible for the charity and every little bit does go a long way.
PokerStars is no stranger to hosting charity events. After the rampage at Virginia tech the popular poker site hosted a charity event for the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund and each year they raise money for Ante Up for Africa, an organization that raises not only money but awareness for Africans in need. Since 2007, the site has raised more than $250,000 for AIDs research and nearly $150,000 for those ravaged by earthquakes.
Satellites to the 2-day EPT London Charity Event are already running on PokerStars. Players who are interested can find the tournaments by selecting ‘Events’ > ‘EPT’ > ‘Qualifiers’ > ‘EPT7-London: Event 25’ in the site’s tournament lobby.
