PokerStars.net Issues a Series of Upgrades
Right when you thought PokerStars.net couldn’t get any better, the renowned online poker room releases a series of updates to it software.
PokerStars updates typically involve a few new features, software tweaks, and from time to time a new game or format. The site’s most recent update, released this week, brings those usual perks plus much more.
Included in the update are new options for cash game buy-ins, allowing those players worried about short stack aggressive play to pick the higher staked games. Players will be allowed to play between 20-50 big blinds, 40-100 big blinds, and 100-250 big blinds (with antes).
Along with that change is the addition of knockout tournaments, in which players earn bounties by busting players. The upcoming SCOOP season will feature one of those - the SCOOP Event #12 KO tournament.
Another new addition will be gender specific tournaments. PokerStars will be offering women only and men only options in the lobby.
PokerStars has also added a new satellite format where single satellites will grant seats to multiple target events if a player wins multiple satellites. This won’t interfere with a player’s ability to unregister from target tournaments for T$.
Full House B says: PokerStars is always coming out with new and exciting software updates. I personally love the updated software. Sign-Up for an account at PokerStars.net and check it out for yourself.
