Quick Durrrr Challenge Session Late Tuesday Night: Dwan Narrow's Jungleman12's Lead

Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Dan “jungleman12” Cates continued the durrrr Challenge last night. The two meet up just after 11p.m. to play a quick 20 minute session that lasted only 258 hands. Dwan made a small dent in Cates massive lead departing with $31,778 in profits. Only 7,660 hands into the 50,000 hand challenge Dwan is still down $659,232 but there is still a long way to go before a winner can be named and it’s anyone’s game. 

The match was largely uneventful though they did play one hand with a pot that top the $90,000 mark. Dwan lead the action raising $1,200 from the button and Cates three-bet to $4,000 which Dwan called. Cates then led out for $4,400 and Dwan raised $11,700 Cates called and then began to check his hand before Dwan moved all-in for $29,498. Cates called and Dwan turned over his cards revealing a runner-runner flush.

A little later in the match Cates won a $75,000 pot when he went all in with three queens narrowing Dwan’s ultimate profit for the evening.
