Time is Running Out to Qualify for the WPT London at PartyPoker with Last Call this Weekend
PartyPoker is giving players the chance to win seats to the World Poker Tour (WPT) inaugural event in London taking place later this month. As the presenting sponsor for the event, Party Poker will be offering a “last chance” opportunity for players to qualify for the event. Satellites will run throughout the weekend and a $600 multi-table tournament will take place on Sunday.
The site will host daily freerolls which will award the top 50 players with a seat into a special $1 “sub qualifier.” For every seventy people in the sub qualifier, the site will award one seat to the London Satellite Qualifier. One in ten players in the London Satellite Qualifier will then move on to the $600 +$40 London Satellite Event, which will take place on Sunday at 2:15pm ET. The $600 London Satellite Event will award one prize package for every 20 players which are definitely some pretty good odds if you can make it that far.
To make things a bit easier the site will also host $8 daily speed tournaments which offer a one in ten chance of moving on to the London Satellite Qualifier. Considering the number of people who are expected to take part in the free rolls this route may cost a little more initially but it is far more likely to pay off in the long run.
The WPT London prizes packages are valued at $12,000. They include the $8,000 Main Event buy-in, $2,000 in spending money, and seven nights’ accommodations.
The WPT London Poker Classic will take place August 30th through September 5th at the Palm Beach Casino in Mayfair. Just a few of the big named pros expected to turn out include the legendary Phil Ivey, Annette Obrestad, Alexander Kravchenko, Barry Shulman, James Akenhead and Sorel “Imper1um” Mizzi.
Don’t miss this chance for a free trip to London to compete against some of the biggest names in the game. Register with PartyPoker and start playing today!
