Two UB Qualifiers Running Deep at the WSOP Main Event: All Qualifiers Are Watching

 Two UB.com players still remain in the running at this year’s World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. Meenakshi Subramanian and Christopher Bolt will each receive $20,300 in additional prize money from UB.com as part of their “Show Up, Get Paid” promotion.

Subramanian currently sits in the 31^st chip position with 2,690,000 chips. He is the only player from the Middle Eastern country Oman to compete at this year’s competition and he has his work cut out for him today as his table will include Hasan Habib, online poker whiz Bryn Kenney, and Jeff Banghart.

Bolt who sits in the 48th position on the leader board has a much smaller stack of 1,690,000 chips. He hails from Tennessee and is hoping to repeat the performance of fellow Tennessee player Chris Moneymaker whose 2003 Main Event victory ignited the modern online poker boom. Bolt’s table mates for today will include Tristan “Cre8ive” Wade and Todd “DanDruff” Witteles.

A number of UB.com pros also remain in the running. Adam “Roothlus” Levy currently sits in the 49th position with a stack of 1,685,000 chips and fellow UB.com pro Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin will join him at today’s table in 39^th place with 2,135,000.

 As for Brandon Cantu he was eliminated yesterday after putting it all on the line with a middle pair. His opponent Javier Martinez pulled a flush on the river and with it Cantu’s dream of victory was put on hold until next year. Keeping things simple Cantu simply Twittered “Out” upon his departure.

With so much going on it’s no wonder so many players make UB.com their home. The satellites might be over for this year’s WSOP but it’s only a matter of time before the site decides which players they will take with them next year.
