Xbox Live Poker Avatar Game Full House Poker Now in Beta Testing Stage
Microsoft has confirmed plans to release a new massive multi-player Xbox live game entitled Full House Poker. The new game is currently undergoing beta testing and no official release date has been made, but if beta testing goes well, it could be available as soon as this summer.
There will be a variety of avatars in the game with unique tells designed to simulate an actual game. These characters will be customizable and a full range of accessories will be available. It is unclear if the game will feature gear from specific online poker rooms but it is likely that at least one of the major poker sites will ultimately sponsor the game.
Players will earn experience points as they play and their overall progress and bankroll will be saved between sessions. The game will feature a leader board where players will be able to compare their skills with their buddies and with other players around the world.
Since there are no real money prizes the game should be available anywhere that Xbox Games are sold. It has been given a 'G' rating which means that it will be available to poker players of all ages.
We'll let you know if there are any startling developments. As always, stay tuned to PokerShark for more news and updates.
