I’m what you’d call a newbie to poker. I grew up playing classic card games like war and rummy with my grandparents, claiming superiority every time I won. It was only later when I learned that they let me win. Now, in the real world, there are no grandparents sneaking me Aces and Jacks. Instead, I have to make my own luck.
