Cake Poker Taking Donations to Provide Families in Need with Donkeys this Holiday Season
In poker calling someone a donkey is one of the worst insults you can make. Often shortened to Donk it basically means you think the player doesn't know how to play the game and that they make terrible poker players. Cake Poker is asking players to salute their favorite “donkey” this month and help out Oxfam which provides working animals (such as donkeys) to families in need around the world.

Rumble Going Down in the Poker World
Last week I reported that the 3rd annual Ante Up for Africa will take place on July 2nd. Well, it appears that there’s a second fundraising challenge coming up, but this one doesn’t necessarily involve cards and chips.
According to PokerNews, on July 1st, “Girl vs. Girl” will put UltimateBet’s Liv Boeree against PokerNews’ Melissa Castello in an all out charity boxing match. That’s right, the two ladies will battle it out for charity. Guys, have I gotten your attention yet?
