Doyle Brunson's Latest Poker Blog

The 2010 WSOP is over finally. At least my part is finished and I’m sweating Johnny Chan and rooting for him. I had a bad series, playing nine events without cashing. I feel I played reasonably good in six of them but played two poorly and one extremely bad. I was on a losing streak going into the World Series of Poker and I’m a complete bottom line guy and don’t believe in making excuses. I do still have a very good memory and I review my play in my mind after every game.

Where 2010 WSOP Main Event Runner Up Darvin Moon is Now

Former WSOP Main Event runner-up Darvin Moon hasn’t appeared to let his $5 million cash win effect his life all too much. When reporters caught up with the memorable poker player they were surprised to find that he and his wife, Wendy, were both still working full-time at their same jobs and were living in the same house they were prior to last year’s competition.

Railbirds Surround Poker Pros and Other News from the WSOP Tables

Phil Ivey drew quite a crowd at Day 1D of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. Ivey’s table was on the rail in the Amazon room and his seat was closest to it so fans had a chance to get close up and personal with the player at least the fans who lucky enough to be in the first row that is. At any time it seems that at least 40 fans were watching his every move but Ivey who will return on Saturday stayed calm and collected despite everything.
