The world’s largest online poker room PokerStars.net, has seized numerous poker accounts after uncovering a massive bot cheating scandal.

Suspicions of the accounts first came about last Tuesday, when a Two Plus Two forum member by the name of “malloc,” noted similarities in the play patterns of three players at PokerStars.net. In addition to that, malloc observed that the players repeatedly wagered the same stakes and moved down after almost the same number of hands in a short time span.

PokerStars has added yet another talented athlete to its list of sports ambassadors. Argentinean football star, Juan Sebastian Veron has recently joined the leading poker room to appeal to the site’s Latin American audience. 

The World Series of Poker may be making its waves in the poker world but, for at home player its Bodog that is making a real splash. The site has just released a few upgrades that are sure to save a lot of time and aggravation for players who like to get in their day to day action.

Phil Hellmuth is at it again. The top poker pro continues to surprise fans with his wild antics. This time he is making an appearance in Ludacris’ latest music video for the song “Sex Room.” About two minutes into the six-minute long video you can spot the very pale Hellmuth engaging in an impromptu poker game with Ludacris and friends in what is presumably the “sex room” at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas.

PokerStars has opened a brand new area in their lobby. Called Daniel’s Room in honor of Team Pro Daniel Negreanu, the new high-stakes cash game tables were designed and endorsed by the poker legend.

Full Tilt Poker has prevailed in court once again. This time the five-star poker room fought off claims of fraud, libel, slander, false advertising, and racketeering by two furriest players.
