These are Full Tilt Poker’s Poker After Dark, GSN’s High Stakes Poker and the PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge. All three of these shows make for some pretty good poker entertainment as well as a learning experience for those interested in gaining some knowledge through watching others.

Fox Sports Net Release Official TV Schedule for the Broadcast of WPT Events

 

 

 

 

 

 

The newly-revamped World Poker Tour (WPT) broadcasts will be coming to Fox Sports Net this February. The sports network released a full schedule last week that includes 26 straight weeks of poker action beginning with the Bellagio Cup VI on February 13th and ending with the WPT Championships on August 7th.

New Reality TV Show Featuring Poker Pros to Air in 2011

Poker fans will be treated to a new poker related TV reality show called 'Young Guns' next year. Expected to air in the second half of 2011 the show will follow the lives of four online poker pros living together in Los Angeles as they attempt to make money over the course of two months from their shared profession.

GSN's High Stakes Poker Taping to Begin Soon and Some Familiars Will Not Be in Attendance

 The seventh season of GSN's “High Stakes Poker” will begin taping at the Bellagio this week. No members of the media will be allowed inside the poker room and the results of the event will remain a closely guarded secret until the show airs in February. “High Stakes Poker” will return to its regular Sunday Night time slots and PartyPoker pro Kara Scott will once again conduct interviews from table site while Gabe Kaplin provides commentary from the booth.

Rumors of New Poker Show in the Works by Co-Creators of Weeds

Jenji Kohan and Matthew Salsberg are working on a new series centered around the world of poker according to Deadline.com.

The co-creators of the popular Showtime series Weeds have been trying to put together a new comedy series about a group of twenty-somethings who live together in Las Vegas and try to win the World Series of Poker. According to the site the show will be called Whales and with any luck it could potentially become a part of the Showtime lineup in the near future.

WPT Casting for the Last On Air Team Position for a New Poker Show

The World Poker Tour is looking for a new member for their on-air team.  The tour will be hosting open auditions for the part in person at The Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles on August 19, 2010 from 11:00am to 8:00pm and online through their facebook page now through August 15th at 11:59 p.m. PT. 
 
In order to qualify for the contest you must be 21 years of age or older and have poker playing experience. The selected player will take a seat next to WPT stars Mike Sexton, Vince Van Patten, Kimberly Lansing and the stunning WPT Royal Flush Girls.
