Eric Baldwin Joins Team UB after a Year of Success

Eric Baldwin has been holding his own in the world of poker over the past year and Cardplayer Magazine has recognized him as the 2009 Player of the Year for his achievements.

 This prestigious award is known throughout the poker community and has given the award to players such as Daniel Negreanu back in 2004. Now Baldwin is joining pro poker players including Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke as part of Team UB after signing a sponsorship deal with UltimateBet.

2009 has been full of great things for the new Team UB member as he accumulated an astonishing 6,994 points to earn himself the Card Player of the Year title, 17 final table finishes, 4 poker tournament wins and his very first gold bracelet win at the WSOP playing $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em in event #34.

“I’m flattered to have been offered a deal and I’m really looking forward to all of the opportunities that it’s going to present me,” said Baldwin.

“It’s awesome to be a part of Team UB. Every player has different styles and different outlooks.
