Getting to Know Your November Nine: Filippo Candio

26 year-old poker pro Filippo Candio is the first Italian player to ever make it to a WSOP Main Event final table.
Last year, he won the Italian Pro Championship in San Remo and earlier this year he cashed for the first time at the WSOP in Event #11: No-Limit Hold'em.
Until recently Filippo was a PokerStars sponsored pro but prior to the main event he switch over to Full Tilt Poker. Candio is a deep stack tournament specialist, and has had plenty of success on the Italian live poker scene.
He is Europe's best, last, and only chance to win a championship at this year’s Main Event and many believe he has just what it takes to make it to the top.
Aside from playing poker, Filippo has a passion for business; he created his own line of poker-themed clothing and tends to keep pretty busy when he isn’t hitting the felt. He will enter the final table fourth in chips.
