PokerStars All Star Week Starts Today and You're Invited!

PokerStars’ All Star Week is back and better than ever. From Today, July 26th through Sunday, August 1st the site will offer host a total of 35 daily heads-up matches in which Team PokerStars Pros will face off against a team made up of some of the best regular players on the site.
During the 26 day challenge the 30 chosen challengers will compete with Team PokerStars Pro in five heads-up matches a day. The games will alternate between No Limit Hold’em and other poker variants and each match will feature a $1,000 prize pool with an additional $25,000 going to the winning team. If the challengers win they will get to split the prize pool but if the Pros win the money will be added to the $11 All Star Week Fans Tournament prize pool scheduled for August 8 at 16:00 ET.
The Challengers team was selected through a series of tournaments held earlier this month that culminated last week in a tournament during All Star Week. .
Log into PokerStars today and cheer on your favorite Team PokerStars Pro or Challenger. While you’re there don’t forget to register for the $11 All Star Week Fans Tournament on August 8 in which the majority of the Team PokerStars Pro’s winnings will be given away.
