Interesting in still making it to the WSOP Main Even this year? You might still have a chance.
TonyG and ChipMeUp, a part of PokerNews, currently announced that they are looking to stake 5 to 10 more players into the 2009 WSOP Main Event.
They’re looking for a few good players to compete alongside Team ChipMeUp and take part in the world’s more prestigious and popular poker tournament. Those who qualify have a chance to win a share of the $10 million first place prize.
In order to qualify for this opportunity, players are asked to contact ChipMeUp and provide reasons and evidence of why they should be chosen. The best answers, and the most qualified players, will be chosen. This is one of the first poker competitions where players are asked to compete by writing, not playing.
ChipMeUp is looking for players with excellent poker records and experience with the website.
Team players will be staked from 80-100% for the WSOP Main Event and will wear ChipMeUp attire. Details of how the winnings will be split up are agreed on a player by player basis.
