Joe Sebok to Sign Up With Poker Site
After having an impressive show at the World Series of Poker Main Event, Joe Sebok is the talk of the town. Son of poker great Barry Greenstein, Sebok is rumored to be closing a deal with a major online poker site. As the CEO of poker forum pokerroad.com, he’s been part of the industry for a while, but has just now made it up to the big leagues.
When asked for comment regarding his client signing on with a major poker site, his agent, Matt Palmer was a bit vague in stating:
"There are always conversations going on. We maintain open communication lines with all of the sites continuously assessing the best fit for Joe. Joe is always looking at his options and he is excited about potential scenarios. We're pleased that Joe has reached a point where he is considered a valuable asset to sponsors and their brand objectives."
Sebok was able to cash in on three events this year. He finished 56th in the $10,000 buy-in Main Event, ended up in 104th in a $1,500 buy-in No Limit Hold’em tournament for $3,300 and took 36th in a $1,500 buy-in Pot Limit Hold’em event for $4,800. Prior to this WSOP, Sebok had a couple of near misses at the World Poker Tour. He ended up earning around $600,000 in WPT tournaments alone and has finished in the money 12 times.
