Odds to Make the 2009 WSOP Final Table

Although predictions are already pouring in when it comes to WSOP Player of the Year, it’s unsure if those players will transform their success into a main event win.

For instance, the 2009 WSOP odds to make the final table (played on November 7) don’t list Jeff Lisandro or Ville Wahlbeck, even though both men top the leaderboard this week.

John Brock Parker has made a name for himself this year, though many sportsbetting spots are unfamiliar with him. James Van Alstyne is a well known player, having already won over $3 million in career live tournaments, however there are no odds posted for him sitting at the final table either.

One player they do have listed is Phil Ivey, ranked 3rd, who will pay $1,500 for every $100 bet made.  Roland de Wolfe ranks in 6th place and he will pay $5,500 for every $100 bet should he make it to the final table. Other 2009 World Series of Poker odds have Daniel Negreanu paying $1,500 for every $100 bet, Phil Hellmuth paying $2,500, Doyle Bruson paying $5,500, Annie Duke paying $10,000 and Vanessa Rousso paying $10,000.
