Phil Hellmuth Doing Better
World Series of Poker bracelet record holder, Phil Hellmuth, finished in 14th place at Event #48 – WSOP Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo 8 or Better with winnings of $11,347. So far, Hellmuth has earned over $40,000 at this year’s tournament alone, however it’s far from the six figure amount he’s won in previous years.
Hellmuth reported this weekend on his Twitter account:
"Played the spots off of the cards!! Played one of the best days of poker of my life...Folded As-2s-5c-J: they had A-A-2!! I am out 14th"
On Sunday Hellmuth was shut out of a tournament after it sold out.
"I am super tired anyway, but it was a bad move on my part to let this happen," Hellmuth said of missing the Sunday tournament.
Phil Hellmuth is a spokesperson for UltimateBet.com, which this week became the 5th biggest online poker room in the world.
