Phil Ivey will Appear on TV Tuesday to Promote the World Series of Poker

It has been a long four months for the November Nine finalists of the 2009 World Series of Poker. Many believed that with Phil Ivey making the final table, he would be extremely helpful in publicizing the event. So far that hasn’t been the case as Ivey has been pretty quiet for the past few months. That is all about to change tomorrow when his interview will be aired on ESPN. The interview will air on the television show “E:60.”Phil Ivey is coming out of his shell just in time to bring recognition to the final table that could make him millions of dollars richer. With the WSOP Main Event Final Table resuming action on Saturday, November 3, 2009, at 7pm, there is no time to waste with spreading the word and there is no better person to do that than Phil Ivey himself. So far we know that the show will involve the ESPN camera crew following the poker pro around for a few days as he flies around in his private jet. He visits casinos and makes appearances all over the world playing high-stakes craps in Montreal and Connecticut casinos and signing autographs in Austria. We will also see Phil visit Amsterdam. In the latest issue of ESPN the Magazine, the Poker Pro is featured on the cover and an interview can be found inside. He talks about his love of poker and how he also enjoys other gambling activities like craps and sports betting. He also tells about what he does when he’s not busy flying around the world in his private jet. He likes to spend his free time in his Vegas home office where he has several large screen monitors. Phil can play many games of poker online all at the same time. With just days to go before the WSOP final table showdown begins, Phil may have chosen the best possible timing for him to publicize the event. “I’ve convinced Phil to pull back the curtain just a little,” says Ivey’s manager to ESPN. This may have been just in the nick of time for Phil to help make this year’s big WSOP finale, an exciting and popular event.
