Allen Cunningham

Name: Allen Cunningham

Winnings to Date: $10,398,118

Allen Cunningham was a full time student pursuing an Engineering degree at UCLA. Now, as one of the top 10 poker players in the world, he’s done with school and immersed in the game full time. Unlike many, Cunningham uses an analytical approach to poker, taking advantage of his background. His success started in 1999 at the Bicycle Casino’s Legends of Poker. He was named “Best All Around Player” and had victories in numerous tournaments. Two years later he won his first WSOP bracelet in the $5,000 7-Card Stud tournament. In 2007 Cunningham earned his fifth bracelet in the$5,000 Pot-Limit Hold’em event. The victory ties him with pros such as Phil Ivey and Chris Ferguson in overall bracelets won. Along with his WSOP titles, he won tournaments in the Ultimate Poker Challenge and the Five-Star World Poker Classic.
