Dennis Phillips

Dennis Phillips is known for his polite, quite demeanor and impressive, crushing tournament play. From St. Louis, Mo, Phillips is an account manager for a commercial trucking company. He earned a Bachelor’s degree and, in his spare time, took up poker in 2004. His real claim to fame came in 2008. In the 2008 WSOP Main Event, Phillips made an astounding $4,517,773 by placing 3rd. Before that he had previously played in the WSOPC final table. Although he’s thinking of retiring from his job soon, he won’t stop playing poker. In fact, even as the oldest player at the WSOP, he’s still looking for newer and harder tournaments.
