Born Sept. 14, 1975 in Toronto, Canada, Evelyn Ng, got her start in the gambling world playing pool for money at the age of 14. When she turned 17 she became a blackjack and poker dealer and it was while working at one of the casinos in Toronto that she met her friend and mentor Daniel Negreanu.

Negreanu helped taught her the tricks of the trade and introduced her to some of the world's top players. When Ng turned 21, Negreanu took her to Las Vegas and it is during that trip she said she realized she wanted to pursue the "poker life" and make a living playing poker professionally. A short time later she moved to Las Vegas and immediately got a job as a blackjack and poker dealer, which enabled her to study the game first hand and build up a bankroll.

Primarily a cash game player, Ng first gained fame when in 2003 she satellited her way into the World Poker Tour (WPT) Ladies Night event and finished second beating out the likes of Jennifer Harman, Kathy Liebert, and Annie Duke along the way. Since then she has cashed 10 times at the WSOP and 4 times on the WPT.

Originally a Full Tilt Poker Pro, Ng now represents Bodog at events around the world and plays online under the screen name "Evybabee".
