He earned the nickname “The-Toilet” when he first started playing online because as a newbie, he would play any of his suited hole cards with the intent to draw a flush. Rather than become discouraged Jaka honed his skills and soon began to earn some serious cash on the virtual felt.
In 2007 he won various events on PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and UB.com, and cashed for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) finishing 22nd at Event No. 19 for $14,445.
In 2008 he continued his online winning streak and he won his first and only live tournament title at the L.A. Poker Classic taking down Event No. 28 for $104,900.
Over the years Jaka has proven himself to be a very consistent player. He regularly wins online tournaments and regularly cashes at live tournament events.
In 2010 he earned the WPT Season VIII Player of the Year award for making four major cashes. Though he is no stranger to final tables Jaka has yet to win a major title. With only three years into his career, we expect to see great things from him as he continues to grow as a player.
