Winnings to Date: $5,330,554Roland De Wolfe has made his presence known throughout the world by attending numerous poker tournaments including the World Poker Tour (WPT), European Poker Tour (EPT) and the World Series of Poker (WSOP). He was born in London in 1979 and began his poker career as a writer for the Inside Edge, a poker magazine. He went on to take down the title at the 2004 Gutshot Poker Festival.
In 2005 he placed in the money at the World Series of Poker $1,000 No Limit event and the same year won first place at the Major Grand Prix De Paris event of the WPT. The following year he finished third at the WPT Bellagio $25,000 Championship Event taking home a payday of more than $100k. He also won the EPT Dublin event making him the first poker player ever to win an event in both the WPT and the EPT.
2009 was one of De Wolfe’s greatest accomplishments as he won himself his first ever WSOP bracelet by taking down the first place prize at the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Low Split 8 or Better tournament. This made him the second person to win an event in all three tournaments.
