Mike “The Mouth” Matusow won the main event of the 2010 Florida State Poker Championship this week. The Team Full Tilt pro bested a field of 400 players to win $103,000 and yet another title.

Mini UBOC Announced for Lower Stakes Players at UB Online Poker Room
UltimateBet.com has announced the start of the fifth Mini Ultimate Bet Online Championship (UBOC). Next week players will be able to take part in a series of miniature events including two main events with hundreds of thousands of dollars in prize money.
Mirroring the UBOC, the Mini-UBOC will feature the same events with much lower buy-ins.

Strip Poker Tournament to be Held During London Poker Festival this September

Mini Poker Series at Bodog: You Could Win 2011 WSOP Main Event Seats
Bodog has announced its new Mini Poker Series. Consisting of 13 different events with substantial guaranteed prize pools the tournament series is scheduled to run July 5th through the 17th. Once the regular tournament events are complete Bodog will host two more big events, the Mini Poker Series Semifinal and the Mini Poker Series Final.

WSOP: Miguel Proulx Wins Bracelet in Omaha Event
Canadian player Miguel Proulx managed to beat out the competition at Event No. 28 $2,500 Pot Limit Omaha last night earning his first ever World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet. This is the second time the young pro has finished in the money at the WSOP, in 2007 he placed 50th at Event No. 12 No Limit Hold'em Short Handed.

Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier Wins the Last Seat to the WSOP Tournament of Champions
Bertrand Grospellier AKA “Elky” may not have any WSOP bracelets to his name, but he does have many other achievements under his belt and he is a very well known and respected player so it is my pleasure to report his most recent accomplishment. Grospellier has won the qualifier for the WSOP Tournament of Champions which took place yesterday to fill the last seat for the prestigious event.
