WSOPE Heads Up Event Showdown Put On Hold: Gus Hansen Continues his Success at The Virtual Tables

 Gus Hansen had a remarkable day at the felts yesterday. First he tied things up in World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) £10k Heads Up Final then he went on to win more than $402k in a marathon session on Full Tilt.

 11-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth will make his grand entrance at this year’s WSOP Europe (WSOPE) later today and the London press and local paparazzi are squirming with anticipation. Every year Hellmuth shows up to the WSOP and the WSOPE dressed in outrageous costumes which both entertain and exasperate everyone around him.

The Unabomber Takes Down First WSOPE Event of the Season

 Phil Laak beat out the competition to win his first ever World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet at the ₤2,650 six-handed no-limit hold’em event last night. The poker pro overcame a massive chip disadvantage going into the heads up round against Andrew Pantling. He battled it out with the rising star for more than three hours before ultimately coming out on top.
