Surprise! The True Identity of Isildur1 Has Been Revealed as Viktor Blom

Ok, we were just kidding about the surprise, but it has indeed been confirmed by PokerStars that the man behind the infamous poker prodigy, Isildur1 is, as expected, Viktor Blom. The 20 year old Swede who took the online high stakes tables by storm last year has finally admitted to the world that he is who we thought he was.  It’s nice to be right!

Isildur1 Upset Over Losing to Haxton in the First SuperStar Showdown on PokerStars

 The PokerStars blog recently discussed Isildur1's defeat by Isaac “PhilIvey2694” Haxton in the first ever Superstar Showdown. The two players had very different opinions about each other and the match itself and Isildur1 seemed to be something of a sore loser.

It must have something to do with the word hack in it, but the last name Haxton sounds a bit intimidating. Isildur1 has gone straight to work on PokerStars earning a stunning $287,500 over an extraordinary 14 hour session. The poker phenom played four tables of high-stakes Pot Limit Omaha against a total of 75 opponents yesterday and this morning for a total of 6163 hands. His debut performance lived up to all expectations and hopefully he'll be able to keep up momentum in coming weeks.

PokerStars Adds Mystery Poker Player Isildur1 to their Team of Pros

 PokerStars made an amazing announcement earlier this week. The world's largest poker site has officially signed Isildur1 to serve as a member of Team PokerStars Pro. Rumors had been going on for some time that Full Tilt Poker was in process of wooing the secretive online icon but if that was the case PokerStars must have made a better offer because it has now been officially confirmed that Isildur1 is the latest member to join Team PokerStars Pro.
