Durrrr Challengers Dan “Jungleman12” Cates and Tom “Durrrr” Dwan got back to the grind on Monday night where they played a very lengthy stretch of heads up poker.

For the first ever session of 2011, the two played for around 6 hours logging an impressive 2,918 hands during that time period. They played some extremely intense heads up No Limit Hold’em at the $200/$400 stakes.

The Durrrr Challenge may have resumed but that hasn't stopped Tom “durrrr” Dwan from making headlines over the past seven days with an entirely unrelated online battle. Dwan and Cadillac1944 have been involved in a week long $500-$1,000 pot-limit Omaha battle that has been garnering quite a bit of attention.

The online high-stakes table results are in for October and while the month has been cruel to a number of pros, others are shouting its praises.

Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Dan “jungleman12” Cates continued the durrrr Challenge last night. The two meet up just after 11p.m. to play a quick 20 minute session that lasted only 258 hands. Dwan made a small dent in Cates massive lead departing with $31,778 in profits.

Tom “durrrr” Dwan appears to be recovering from his recent downswing. Dwan scored $365k on Full Tilt this weekend playing a wide range of games including $5/$10 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em and $500/$1,000 Heads-Up Cap PLO.
