PokerStars to Host Charity Freeroll Tournament Benefitting Women

Next Tuesday, March 8, will be the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day and online poker room, PokerStars.com has big plans to honor the special occasion. This day was created back in 1911 to celebrate the achievements of women and show support for the difficulties they may face in life. International Women’s Day is recognized in 25 countries.

MMA Fighter Randy Couture to Host Charity Poker Tournament in Vegas

 MMA legend Randy Couture will be hosting the third annual “Operation All In” charity poker tournament and auction fundraiser, next Saturday (October 30th) at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. The tournament and auction will benefit the Xtreme Couture G.I. Foundations which raises money and awareness for soldiers wounded in action and their families.

Beth Shak to Host Charity Poker Tournament at Manhattan’s Lucky Strike Bowling Alley

 Poker pro Beth Shak will be hosting a charity poker tournament in conjunction with AOL at the Luxe Lounge at Lucky Strike in Manhattan on October 12th. The tournament will benefit the charity of the winner’s choice and for one low price players will be able to enjoy a one-hour open bar, free food, DJ music, and free food.
