The poker industry has continued to find ways in which they can benefit the community with the most popular card game in the world and they have done just that by bringing charity tournaments to poker events across the globe. PokerStars is gearing up to host one of these charity events for a very worthy cause- the awareness of HIV and Aids research and prevention. Fish and Chips Showdown at the 2011 PCA to Combine to of Men's Favorite Things: Fishing and Poker

PokerStars has announced a unique live event that combines fishing on the high seas with high-stakes poker action. Entitled the Fish & Chips Showdown, the new event will take place in the Bahamas as a part of the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) and the champion of the event will be determined by a ratio of 1:3 fishing and 2:3 poker.

PokerStars Gives Players Plenty of Opportunity to Receive Caribbean Adventure Packages

PokerStars is preparing to host The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. On January 6th, the televised poker tournament will kick off at the Atlantis Resort and Casino on Atlantis Paradise Island. Over the course of ten days the casino will host more than fifty events including a High Roller event, a Ladies Event, a number of Heads Up events, and the highly anticipated Main Event.
