I called all in and the other oponent called all in. I won the hand so she says to me ok since i called all in too, i have to match what you went all in on . And i thought all in means all in whoever wins that hand wins since we both went all in and she had more chips than me, i could not match her stack of chips if i would have lost that hand.

I was playing in a Las Vegas poker room but it could have, and does, happen everywhere. I had a 8/9s from early position. The board had paired twice, reading J-J-10-10. On the river came an 8. I saw I had paired the board on the river but new it didn't play. Here is my point. Being in early position it's my obligation to show my hand first. I toss my eight to the top of the flop so that my opponent see's that I paired. I turned my other card [a 9]face up in front of me. I saw that he saw this, and he was holding his cards so as not to expose them. Technically I believe, we are still waiting for this player to decide to either show his hand or muck his hand.
Just as it looks like the player is going to muck... the dealer pushes the two pair on the board and proclaims "jacks and tens with a 9". It's at this point I see the lights come on in my opponents eyes and he turns up his hand to show an Ace kicker.
Did the dealer influence the hand? Did he act prematurely in his effort to speed up the game. Maybe getting a couple extra tokes and a couple extra drops per down. Should he have waited for all players to table their cards, face up or face down, before making his verdict public?

The big blind was unable to match the small blind and the button raised and pushed out the small blind. Does all of the little blind go to the side pot for the big blind or does the button raise take the portion of the small blind above what the big has left? Big debate during our game

Two players all in! Both have boats! One has Jack 5 in his hand and the other has King 7. After the hand is dealt the board has 7 7 4 on flop, then 5 turn and river is a 5. Player one has 5's full of 7's and the other has 7's full of 5's. The player with 7's full turns the 7 over to show his boat but then throws his second card face down into the muck. What happens if the other player protest and says it is a mucked hand and he should win?
